Trip to Florence and Venice – Italy Rail Tour 3 days
Day 1 – FLORENCE
Independent departure from Rome by high speed train (we suggest 8:30am). Arrival in Florence after 1 hour 35 minutes. Check-in at hotel 3* situated in the city center, near Santa Maria Novella Station of Florence.
Time at your disposal to discover Florence on your own or to join optional activities. Overnight
OPTIONAL EXPERIENCES: Pisa and the Leaning Tower, bike tour in Florence, Cooking Class and dinner
Day 2 FLORENCE
In the morning enjoy a pleasant walk in Florence, the chance to discover one of the most important and charming cities of the world heritage of the UNESCO. During this walk, you will see Piazza della Signoria with the town hall Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo, the Baptistery with its ‘Gates of Paradise’, Giotto’s independent bell tower, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Santa Trinita and Orsanmichele Church, Pontevecchio Bridge and the secret Vasari Corridor.
Free time for lunch and shopping. Proceed by own means to train station for departure to Venice.
Arrival in Venice at 17,30 Check-in at 3*hotel located close to Venice Railway Station and shopping area. Free time at leisure or optional gondola ride through the Grand Canal. Overnight

Day 3 Venice (Rome)
Breakfast at hotel. Reach the historical center of Venice where you will meet your local guide for a semi-private guided tour of Venice. If you prefer you can meet the guide at the hotel and walk together to San Marco square. Visit Saint Mark’s Square, the Basilica of Saint Mark (visit inside on request), with its marvelous mosaics and countless other works of art; the most celebrated Clock Tower, the exterior of the Ducal Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and other important places through tiny ‘ calle ‘, typically narrow Venetian lanes. You will then have free time for lunch (not included) and to explore the town on your own.
On request, visit of Murano Glass Factory in Venice, where you will learn about the process and history of glass-making in Venice.

In case you will required the return train to Rome departure will be fixed at 17,25/18,25. You can leave luggage at the hotel until your departure

Free cancellation up to 15 days. For cancellations from 14 to 4 days prior to arrival will be charged a penalty corresponding to 70% of the total amount – For cancellations beyond this time limit, after arrival dates & no-show the total amount will be charged. Train tickets are not refundable.
