Come and discover the beauty of the enchanting Tuscan cities of Siena, San Gimignano, and Pisa on an unforgettable excursion from Florence. This tour will take you through the rich history, art, and architecture of these fascinating destinations, allowing you to immerse yourself completely in the charm of Tuscany.
Your adventure will begin in Florence, where you will depart in comfortable transportation towards the city of Siena. During the journey, you can enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Tuscan hills, characterized by vineyards and olive groves stretching to the horizon.
Once you arrive in Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage site, you will be welcomed by the medieval atmosphere that permeates its streets and squares. Visit Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, where the famous Palio takes place every summer. You will have free time to explore the splendid Cathedral, one of the most beautiful artistic testimonies of the 13th to 15th centuries, the Palazzo Comunale, and the elegant Torre del Mangia in Piazza Campo. You will also have time to savor local delicacies or go shopping in the charming artisan shops.
From Siena, we will reach San Gimignano, another UNESCO World Heritage site, a small jewel completely surrounded by its original fortifications. Upon request, there will be a lunch stop at a pleasant countryside estate, where a lunch of typical Chianti products will be served, accompanied by a guided tasting of a selection of Chianti wines provided by knowledgeable and friendly farm owners.
Lastly, we will head to one of the most famous cities in the world – Pisa – with its incredible Piazza dei Miracoli, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will find the famous Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, the Cathedral, and the monumental cemetery, which are supreme examples of 12th and 13th-century Romanesque architecture and contain works of immense artistic value. You can capture unforgettable photos and discover the fascinating history surrounding this unique monument.
After experiencing an unforgettable time in Tuscany, we will return to Florence, carrying precious memories and the enchantment of these wonderful Italian cities with us.
