DAY 1 MILAN

Arrival at Milan! Optional transfer to the hotel. Hotel accommodation; rest of the day at disposal for visiting the city. Depending on the arrival time, it is possible to participate in a guided tour of the city centre, or unique experience to visit one of the most famous theatre houses in the world, Leonardo Da Vinci Last Supper, and for the sports enthusiasts, a Football Lovers Tour is also available, which includes a visit of the San Siro Stadium. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2 MILAN – GENOVA

After breakfast at the hotel, you  will reach Milan Centrale station to board the train to Genoa. The journey takes about 1h 40 ‘. After arriving, hotel accommodation and free time at your disposal for a visit of the city on your own. A one-day hop-on / hop-off tourist bus ticket (with multilingual audio guide) is included, which can also be used for getting around the city, ideal for those who want to get around to discover Genoa on one’s own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3 GENOVA – LA SPEZIA

After breakfast at the hotel, we board the train to La Spezia. The journey takes about 1h30 ‘. La Spezia is the starting city to explore the famous Cinque Terre, the stretch of coast with 5 fishing villages perched over the sea: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The two-day Cinque Terre Train Card is included, which allows access to the National Park area and the use of regional trains that connect the villages and of local buses. Overnight stay at the hotel in La Spezia.

DAY 4 LA SPEZIA

Breakfast at the hotel, then free day to continue the visit of the Cinque Terre, participate in a tasting experience of extra-virgin  olive oil at a local producer, or devote yourself to a food and wine tour to taste the typical season specialties of the territory. Sports enthusiasts can opt for a mountain e-bike ride with a guide on one of the many scenic routes of the Gulf of Poets. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 5 LA SPEZIA – ROME

After breakfast at the hotel, we board the high-speed train to Roma Termini Station. The journey takes about 4hrs. We suggest to take a train departing early in the morning to have a half day at disposal in Rome to discover the city or join an optional activity. We recommend a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica, to admire Michelangelo’s famous Sistine Chapel and other masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance, or our tour of Imperial Rome, to closely observe the monuments of the Roman Forum, enter the Colosseum and listen to our guide’s evocative narration of the history of ancient Rome and the gladiator fights that took place there. Alternatively, gastronomy enthusiasts can participate in a practical cooking class to learn how to prepare some of the best-known Italian specialties such as pasta, pizza or tiramisu. Accommodation at the hotel and overnight stay.

OPTIONAL EXPERIENCES: Guided tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, Guided tour of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica, Cooking class.

DAY 6 ROME

Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and end of the tour.

Free cancellation up to 15 days
For cancellations from 15 to 7 days prior to arrival will be charged a penalty corresponding to 70% of the total amount – For cancellations beyond this time limit, after arrival dates & no-show the total amount will be charged. Train tickets are not refundable.
