Florence and Venice 4 days – Italy Tour from Rome

1st day: Rome – Florence

8,30am – Reach on your own Termini Station, arrival in Florence at 10,05am. After leaving the luggage at the hotel, you will be ready for a town-discovery walk through the enchanting streets and squares of the historical center.

Visit the church of Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo square dominated by the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell tower and the Baptistery, with its Renaissance golden “Gate of Paradise”.
See Dante’s house and Piazza della Signoria, a splendid “open-air sculpture museum” with Palazzo Vecchio, the city hall, controlled by the majestic statue of David by Michelangelo. Passing by the Corridoio Vasariano, reach Ponte Vecchio, the “Jewelers’ Bridge”, one of the symbols of Florence.
The tour ends in the heart of the Medieval town. Free time at disposal for shopping or continuing visiting the city and its beautiful Museums such as the Uffizi Gallery or Accademia Gallery. Overnight

2nd day: Florence

Breakfast at hotel free time at disposal. OPTIONAL half day regular tour to Pisa by bus. A splendid excursion through the Tuscan countryside towards the historic university city of Pisa, guided visit of Piazza dei Miracoli to find the celebrated Leaning Tower, the Cathedral (visit inside), the Baptistery and other important monuments. Return to Florence. Overnight

3rd day: Florence – Venice

At 8.30 Proceed by your own means to train station for departure to Venice. Arrival in Venice at 10,30 and reach 3*hotel located close to Venice Railway Station and shopping area.

Meet Argiletum Tour guide for an half day tour of Venice to admire the Saint Mark’s Square, the Basilica of Saint Mark, with its marvelous mosaics and countless other works of art; the most celebrated Clock Tower, the exterior of the Ducal Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and other important places through tiny ‘calle’, typically narrow Venetian lanes. Free time at leisure or optional gondola serenade through the Grand Canal. Overnight

4th day: Venice (Rome)

Breakfast at hotel and check out within 10.00am (you could leave luggage at the hotel). Time at disposal to enjoy the city of Venice. You could walk around or take the vaporetto along the Gran Canal or joying a gondola ride through the small canals, or take a boat to visit the Island of Murano. If you require return to Rome (optional) train departure is at approximately 6,00 pm or 7.00 pm. Arrival in Rome at approx. 11.00pm. End of our services. Arrivederci!

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 15 days – for cancellations from 15 to 7 days prior to arrival will be charged a penalty corresponding to 50% of the total amount – For cancellations beyond this time limit, after arrival dates & no-show the total amount will be charged. Train tickets are not refundable.

Check in at the hotel is at 2/3:00pm, in case of early arrival, you can leave luggage at the hotel

For walking tours we would recommend that you wear comfortable clothes, and we remind you that entrance into churches requires appropriate attire (no shorts, miniskirts or uncovered shoulders)
