Meet the driver at the hotel and transfer to the station where our English speaking assistant will take you to the train. You have an independent departure from Termini Station in Rome, approx. at 6:57am and you arrive in Pisa central station at approx. 9.52 am. At Pisa station you meet your local guide of Pisa and Florence.
From the station, with the guide, you walk to Piazza dei Miracoli, the heart of Pisa and one of the most beautiful architecture complex in the world: the Baptistry, the Cathedral, the Monumental Cemetery and finally, the celebrated Leaning Tower!
This is followed by a visit to the interior of the Cathedral, an unrivaled masterpiece of Romanesque art constructed between the 11th and 12th centuries.
You will then continue with a pleasant walk to reach Piazza dei Cavalieri, where you can admire the historic Scuola Normale, one of the most famous universities in the world.
After some free time, you will return to the Station with your guide and in approx 50 minutes you will reach Florence. Upon arrival in Florence, at Santa Maria Novella station, with the guide your will proceed through the old city center.
Visit of the outdoor Duomo complex: the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous Porta del Paradiso, the Cathedral with the magnificent Cupola by Brunelleschi and Giotto’s bell tower.
A short walk through the historic streets of the heart of Florence brings you to the renowned Piazza della Signoria where you can admire a copy of the famous David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artist.
At the end of the tour, at aprox. 6:00pm, the guide shows you how to return to Santa Maria Novella Station. You have some free time for dinner and then departure on your own by train at 20:33. Arrival in Rome at 22.05
